今天我们来读《加油，妈妈！》
What is Mum doing?
妈妈在做什么呢？
She is putting on her shoes. She is preparing for the Fun Run。
她正在穿鞋子。她正在为趣味跑作准备。
What do you think Biff is saying to Mum?
你觉得Biff在跟妈妈说什么呢？
I think she is saying ‘You are the best!’
我觉得她在说“你是最棒的！”
Did Mum win the game? Let’s see.
妈妈最后赢了吗？我们一起来看看。
“Ready? Go!” said the judge.
裁判说：预备，跑！
The judge is holding a sign which says ‘LAP 1’.
裁判正举着一个写着“LAP 1”的牌子。
What does this sign mean?
这个牌子是什么意思呢？
It means it’s the 1st round of the game.
这是指比赛的第一轮。
Look! The Mums are running！
看！妈妈们都在跑呢！
“Go on, Mum,” said Chip.
Chip说：“加油，妈妈！”
Chip’s Mum is trying very hard.
Chip的妈妈正拼命往前跑。
What’s mum doing?
妈妈在做什么呢？
She is walking across a very long log trying to keep balance.
她正走过一条很长的木头，尽力保持平衡。
“Go on, Mum,” said Biff.
Biff说：“加油，妈妈！”
“I am going,” said Mum.
妈妈说：“我努力着呢！”
Splash!
哗！
Oh No! The Mum in blue fell into the muddy puddle。
噢天哪！穿着蓝色衣服的这位妈妈掉到泥坑里啦。
What’s Mum doing now?
妈妈在做什么呢？
She is climbing up the net. This net looks so high!
她正在爬一个网子。这个网子看起来好高啊！
“Go on, Mum,” said Kipper.
Kipper说：“加油，妈妈！”
“I am going,” she said.
“爬着呢”，妈妈说。
Where is Mum now?
现在妈妈在哪里？
Oh, she is in a muddy river.
她正在一条脏脏的河里。
She is pinching her nose and trying to go through the river.
她正捏着鼻子，穿过这条河。
“Go on, go on,” said Dad.
爸爸说：“加油！加油！”
“I am going,” said Mum.
“我很努力了！”妈妈说。
She is all wet and muddy.
她全身都湿了，而且都是泥。
Oh, poor Mum!
可怜的妈妈！
This is LAP 2.
到了第二轮比赛。
“Ready? Go!” said the judge.
裁判说：“预备，跑！”
“I am not going again,” said Mum.
妈妈说：“我不跑了！”
She is taking off her shoe and pouring water out of it.
她正在脱掉一只鞋，往外倒脏水呢。
Why did mum say she wasn’t going again?
为什么妈妈说她不想跑了？
I think that’s because she is worn out.
我觉得她应该是已经精疲力尽了吧。

妈妈刚开始穿了什么颜色的衣服？故事的最后，衣服还是红色的吗？

不知道谁的小眼镜掉在了比赛场地上，你找到了吗？（答案：第4页）
除了Kipper的妈妈来参加比赛，你还认识里面哪个妈妈呢？（答案：还有Wilma和Wilf的妈妈来参加比赛了哦）
特别提醒
1. 每个宝宝的年龄不一样，基础不一样，不需要完全按照以上文本来讲。如果孩子感兴趣，就多说一点，不感兴趣就少说一点，都没问题。
2. 只要孩子理解，或看图能明白，或家长可以用肢体语言或者指物的方式让孩子明白，就不要翻译。
3. 如果实在不能理解，可以适当解释，但不需要字对字翻译。
